I would sew sashing in between each block, sew them together so many across and down, depending on how big you want it, add a thin border, then a wide border about 5 inches. That would be simple and go pretty fast.

Why cut them? these make this top...alternating with a solid square. Obviously this one uses the light/white in the middle I made the one above using 8.5" blocks. I made the one below for my neighbor using 6.5" (before sewing into quilt) blocks [ATTACH=CONFIG]516358[/ATTACH] |
