apparently my answer is 7.

But wait! There's more!!!

1) It's a 2" seam!!!
2) It's paper piecing!!!!!

So? Does this take the cake or what?

I'm going to go eat something now. I'm blaming it all on low blood sugar. Where is the chocolate???

Funny...at some point, i'd just go with "done"....pretty sure it would be around 3rd or 4th time tho

Wow, I'm impressed you still have paper to sew on.

I have a personal tolerance level of 4 times.
After that, it gets tossed in the garbage - that'll show it - and I start a new one.

Hope you found some chocolate.

4 times to many.

I generally go until the fabric is so worn I can't trust it to hold together and THEN, on the next seam, it is perfect. Ain't that the way>

I won't sew anything more than 3 times. Either I leave it as part of the design element or replace the fabric. Resewing only weakens the fabric.

2 or 3 times at the very most...

You are far better than me. Don't know that I'd have the paper or fabric left to do more than 3-4. If I'm not pp'ing I don't think I could count!

frugalfabrics 09-25-2011 06:58 PM

LOL...4 times for me.
