Quiltwiz-how nice that you and your husband share quilting. He must be a very patient person to hand piece a 100" x 100" quilt. Will he be posting it on this board?

My husband shops with me and helps look for types of fabric I am looking for. When I ask he is my helper in placement or combonations I am having trouble making a decision. He also will set up the frame and help me tie quilts. I don't think he has developed an interest in quilting himself but I do appreciate his interest and his encouragement in a skill I enjoy.

My DH is very supportive of my quilting. He doesn't shop or quilt with me. But he loves my quilts and always asks of every quilt I make "Is that for us".

I remember buying the fabric for the top, pillowcases, pillow shams along with thread for a quilt for daughter and son in law and that cost me $250. That was 3 years ago. Still haven't gotten the top done, nor the cases or shams. Not to mention the backing for it...it's a king size. I do remember the fabric was $10/yd and it's Northcott.
