I posted a picture of my first quilt in a Facebook group, and someone asked me what the name of one of the blocks was. I had no idea since I was just playing with graph paper and that is what I came up with.

Drat! I have seen one very similar, but don't remember the name...not much help, am I? lol I will be watching for the answer.

I did make it up at the time but... "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." Ecclesiastes 1:9 New International Version (NIV) I can't imagine any block not already having a name. |

I think that this block is called Brasstown star. Check out Quilter's Cache,

Looks like a variation to the Ohio Star. I could be wrong, but have seen it before. Huggies, Fay
