They are beautiful. The first one looks like a Snails Trail. Not sure about the second.

The primary blocks in #1 is in el burns book el's kitchen. She calls it a pigtail. I have seen it elsewhere with various names

Here is the pattern for the square "frames" the rest of the block(2nd photo) you'll be able to construct using HSRs and a star pattern. I do have the exact pattern for the 2nd photo, I'll be back if I find it.
