it's something like a Drunkard's Path but not quite. Thanks.

It's kind of like Orange Peel, but with a 4 patch at the corners, and the "segment" of the Orange is small compared to the usual shape/size. This link will take you to a view of the typical Orange Peel block.

I don't know but I really like the pattern.

This site calls the block used 'Rain Drop' and Rose Dream and you can download an image of the block to cut out your own pattern. I know I have this quilt pattern somewhere in my pc, but it will take hours to find it, as I don't know what it is called. Every maker gives their quilt a different name, it gets confusing.

I like it too...thanks for posting the link Gay. Barb, where did you see the quilt? I like the colors they used.

It's actually a cheater fabric. Probably from the 1970's -80's.

Texas_Sue 06-08-2017 03:39 AM

I think it will make up a beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure what it's called, although I have seen it before when I took a quilting class when I first started quilting, as I think it was part of a sampler quilt we made. Try Quilters cache, you could probably find it there. Hope this helps.

Not sure of name off hand, but I know Sizzix has a die for this block and its name!

GeeGee 06-08-2017 08:42 PM

It is ROSE DREAM, I have made that quilt. Here is a link to free pattern. https://www.quiltinaday.com/imgs/fac.../RoseDream.pdf

I don't know the name of the block but I really do like it. It reminds me a little of a honeybee block I made 20 years ago for a sampler quilt but I don't remember the 4-patch in the center.

I went online and I found another site with this pattern. http://charisecreates.blogspot.com/p...ilt-along.html This is 1 block in a quilt along and all of the patterns are variations of curves. Another quilt to add to my bucket list
