A Zig Zag quilt is very easy, and you can use small amounts of lots of different really cute baby fabrics.
I love this tutorial for it is quick strip piecing: http://beesquarefabrics.blogspot.com...t-without.html |
Oooh. I really like those pinwheels. Heading to the fabric shop today - want a pale pink and white small check along with a solid. Maybe a bright pink also (Mom hasn't decided on which pink she wants for layette). Thanks everyone for all the good ideas.
Pinwheels are not difficult but can be a little time consuming- I recently did a Baby quilt with them that had a scrappy border which I loved when it was completed: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-134673-1.htm[/quote] |

I like an alternating 4-patch with the plain squares being the focus fabric and chosing 2 of the colors in there to work with white for the 4-patches.
