If you do a dnp then I would do the prints in the corners and the purple in between and then maybe a pink or taupe for the center square to be cut up. that would keep the two prints from blending too much. but that is me. I would also do either a tonal or another batik for the smaller square. I have used that dark purple in about 10 different quilts. I love it to bits. It is really nice to work with and keeps its color well. I have about 5 more yards of it to be used in other quilts.

How about a chevron? Like this one. Replace the polka dot with the purple, add the brown/pink and alternate the floral and the bamboo. It's all HST, so it will go quickly. http://luciethehappyquilter.com/tag/...-quilt-design/

What about afternoon delight

How about a drunkards path with one of the blues used as binding and backing.

Lots of good suggestions - sometimes we just need to look at our favorite fabric and enjoy it! Your combination maybe needs a light to set it off.

Rail fence would be an easy pattern. If you make the strip sets with the dark purple on both sides of the strips, your rail fence ends up looking like a basket weave if you alternate the squares (vertically and horizontally). I also thought of a pretty Braid quilt. I think I'd add a pink fabric to the three, though. It would add a spark and pick up that delicate pink flower nicely.

Hey neighbor, you live just up the hill from me.
I just finished a quilt using a disappearing 4 patch. It was really fun and I loved how it came together. Would love to see you post your quilt and the satisfaction you will have, then carressing a lovely quilt in those yummy fabrics.

That fabric is beautiful. I would not want to do a small design pattern as it would lose the print on the fabric IMHO

I love those fabrics! I'm with twinkie...I wouldn't want to lose the prints on the fabric by using a small design. I'd also add a pink or another color to the quilt. I was intrigued about what I would do so I did some looking and thought these would look good.

or maybe a Courthouse steps variation.
I'd love to see what you decide to do with it!

Cheers, K

That's my thought also. Love the fabrics. If you do a DP9, you would need the brown/taupe for contrast. I would add a 4th fabric, use the floral as a border. Here are a couple of pics that show what happens when there's not enough contrast. I love the look of the quilt and the fabrics, but it doesn't work for me. Love the border treatment.
