Instead of taupe. try a olive green. I think if you look at the selvage you will see more colors that will blend nicely. I just completed a Fourth of July which was very pretty.Or maybe a BQ2.

what about a simple snowball, using the pattern as the snowball and the purple to make the corners( which makes a secondary diamond pattern when all joined together?

Get a pink/lavender batik similar to the purple and a tone on tone tan or even solid. Make drunkards path blocks with the floral and the purple and the floral and the lavender/pink fabrics. Use the tan as sashing. Use any remaining floral fabric as border fabric and the bamboo on the back. Bind in tan. It has an asian flare. very pretty fabrics. have fun1 Can't wait to see what you make.

Hi all. I must confess I am one of those people that start my day reading QB, but never-rarely ever post.I love and admire all the beautiful quilts everyone makes and all the wonderful advice so freely given. I am hoping someone will be able to help me figure out something with this wonderful fabric. I look at it almost daily and love it but it also makes me sad that I've had it for over 3 years and haven't done anything with it yet. There is 5 yards of the print and about 3 yards of the purple. I'm open to adding possibly the pink or a taupe but that still doesn't help me with determining a pattern. All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I would add a pink and maybe a little green in a light color.

I would like to see a nice pink added to the mix and made into the Warm Wishes Pattern. This pattern in a free download and I think I got mine from the Linus Charity Group, the bottom of my printout reads "AQG Community Quilts Project" if this is any help. I always get a lot of comments when I make a quilt using the Warm Wishes pattern.
