What Pattern Would You Use

..to go along with this pillow?

I want to make a throw for the couch, but short of just copying the pillow, I can't think of anything. I have the fabric....a yellow/grey/white polka dot a grey and a white. (I like the polka dot because I think the area needs a little life.)

Ideas?

Thanks!

Oh gosh, chevron, churn dash, etc. wonderful pillow!! look up modern quilt images.

I'd probably go more modern -- simple stripes (maybe even vertical) or even some flying geese stripes with one color being your main background depending on how dark you want the overall quilt to feel.

What about half square triangles? The pattern would be similar to the pillow but not identical.

Pinwheels??
jack in the box??

It almost looks like the envelope quilt from Missouri Star Quilt co. Maybe look at the tutorial and see if it would work and use the same colours that are in the pillow.

There is a free pattern for a quilt that looks like the old woolen blankets on line. I think it would look great with this pillow! Like the Hudson Bay harbor blanket that costs over four hundred dollars.

I like the pillow, I don't think it would be so bad to do the quilt the same:sew::sew:

This one is your colors and would go great too.
