I always use a small needle nose jewelers pliers. Does the same thing.
It appears to be a nifty little needle puller.
I cut the fingers off of those vinyl gloves they use for medical gloves. I put one on my thumb and it grips the needle. You can get them at Costco pretty cheap.
`Looks to me as if it is one thing I can do without. I think that it would be cumbersome on my finger and drive me nuts. ♥
A small uninflated ballooon or the rubber band from a bunch of broccoli or any strip of rubber works fine. I have also used the round rubber jar openers. Most of these are free.
Seems pretty pricy. I use round rubber discs to grab my needle, or if it is particularly stubborn and I have too many stacked stitches to grab it, I use surgical mosquito clamps

I think this might be the solution to my thumb pain.... it's from pulling out the needle.... and I'm using one of those round rubber needle-puller things.
I ordered one...... and I think the price is a lot cheaper than hand surgery..... that's where I'm headed if I don't find something that works. |
