I've had an Oliso for a few years..........no problems. I do like that I don't have to sit it upright. With the lifting feet, I can just leave it flat. However, while ironing at my friend's, I left her iron flat & without lifting feet, I scorched her ironing board cover. oops !

I have a Rowenta, and my grandmothers old iron that I can't remember the name of. Both of mine are working great.

I have 2 GE irons that are vintage from the thrift store. One is a fulls size light and easy and the other is a travel size light n easy :) They were $1.99 and $.99 and the thrift store has something like them in most of the time. I would check there first ;)

I have a rowenta, but have also had the el cheapos from Walmart, and honestly, they are just as good.

I have the 10 dollar one from Walmart cause they were out of the 6 :)

I don't care for Rowenta irons. They are sooo expensive and one of mine had a power surge on a costumer's project. I buy the cheapest one I can find which does not have an automatic shut-off and it will last me several years. I am professional seamstress so I use iron a lot.
