Let her know. Depending on her response you will know to order from her again. Most likely she is unaware of any issues.

Still no word back on my SECOND email. I just have to assume that they are not going to respond at all. Maybe they just don't care.

I won't order anything from them again. Too bad..they have some nice fabric.

Thanks again for all the support. I went to some estate sales today, and have left everything in my car in 113 degree weather until I can get it inside and wash everything. I learned a lot from the responses, too.

It's only been a couple of days... Maybe the shop owner is the only one that checks e-mails and is away for a few days.

I'm as guilty as the next person in always wanting a prompt response, but sometimes there are good reasons for not getting one.

how awful, keep us posted if you get a reply.....

Always wash fabric as soon as you get home with it. Expecially if it came from out of country. I got an e-mail about this when the bed bugs were so prolific.
Happy Quilting.

It has been a long day and I really needed a good laugh. In the beginning, I'm sure you did everything but laugh! I've never before heard anyone uses the statement below as you did..... We have a shorter word we would have said! Chalk it all up to experience... especially when you finish the item and after it is sold, you can delight the buyer with your initial experience with the fabric.....You may want to tell the buyer that all your items are not returnable!!!

MonnaL:
yep...we have a saying here... "feces occurs". In this case, it was quite literal, though LOL

If they don't answer by next week contact them again and refer them to this site. Also tell them that you are going to give us their name so we can make our own decision ordering from them.

Any time I get fabric in the mail I am worried about this. Ever since all the bedbug stories in the news.

Could be a weather related problem like a power outage, could be on vacation, could be a family emergency.

I'm sure something will be done. Give it a bit more time.

Sorry it happened to you. I've heard of this happening, but so far, it hasn't happened to me.
