I agree - definitely let them everything you shared here - maybe with this indo they can figure out exactly what went wrong. AND when/if I ordered from them again, remind them who you are and the problem with the first shipment ...

I have a large black plastic tote in the trunk of my car. Every piece of fabric, whether it be cut length, clothing, or anything else - regardless of where I get it from, goes into a heavy black mil bag then into the tote. It remains there for 4-5 hot days. Thrift shops are not the only place these bugs can catch a ride from. Believe me, you DO NOT want them in your home, so deal with your fabric (or any kind of material) before you bring it indoors.

Just a few days ago bed bugs were found in a police station in the Philadelphia area!

That's what I would do also. You know she would want to know. No one would want it out there that something like that occurred. yuk!!

Monna, they've had ample time to respond. I would call first thing in the morning. If they refuse to acknowledge the situation then I would tell them I would file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
You might not be the first customer with the same problem and could save others from the same aggravation.

Thanks for sharing with us so we can be on guard. I know roaches like paper bags and cardboard. I don't keep any paper bags and cardboard in our house. Hope the store will reply from back to you soon. If they knew how many of us knows about this, I betcha you would hear from them real soon, because there is alot of us!!!!!!!!

I bet that fabric came from overseas. That's s big problem with foreign products.

Lots of things hitch rides from far away... zebra mussels came to the Great Lakes in ships' ballast from Eastern Europe... and the emerald ash borer probably came on a ship, too, in the wood or packing crates or similar material.

All fabrics come from overseas these days, and we get many boxes a week from from fabric companies whose mills are in China, Japan, or South Korea. Still, we have never ever seen a bug on any of the many bolts of fabric we've handled.

Oh my gosh, that's horrible! Hope you can get some answers and the problem solved!
I will definatly be checking all my fabric outside from now on.. that's unreal!
