You say "but I just can't stand the thought of doing them anymore". My feeling is that if you start with that attitude, you will have problems as your heart will not really be into them. I say move on to something you will enjoy. Life is short why do things you do not enjoy unless it is a matter of life and death? Maybe keep the supplies for a few months or year and if feelings have not changed, pass it on.

Several times I've worked on a quilt that I just wasn't having a good time with or that I didn't particularly like. But with just the right border, adding a sliver of flat welt, or in one case I took the blocks apart and added sashing, every one of them turned out beautiful! And if that still doesn't do it for you, the quilting will certainly do it! I've been with a weekly hand quilting group for 20+ years and never cease to be amazed at someone's beautiful quilts we finish that began humble and homely!
Your minis will make some gorgeous mug rugs!

Good for you! But don't think "only 16 more". Think I'll do ONE more tomorrow or next week. It's like running hurdles, can't think of them all at once-just One at a time.

Ask around and see if someone else would like the ones already made and will continue until all are made. If I don't like something, after I have started it, I find another project that what I have made looks good in, set them aside until later and then forget about them all together.

Life is too short. Do only those things that you love to do.

Amen. Quilting is supposed to be fun? Rewarding? Satisfying?

You need to enjoy yourself. Pass them on or trade it on this board for something you need or would like.

Why not find some one that has a top they don't want to finish and you could Trade tops. You could trade it back when the tops are done or Keep them.

Same with me....started (again) in my 50's and can't stand to have UFO's around.
