I'd continue with your quilt. Maybe you can work what you learned in your class into your quilt. Play with what you have learned, and check to make sure seams still match.

I would definitely finish the one you have started. It looks great.

I agree that it is beautiful and you need to just continue with the same foot! Please post when done!

It should not matter that your seams are off. As long as they are consistent throughout the piece, you will be fine.

When I make "rough use" quilts - outside, picnic, stadiums, dogs - I usually piece with a 1/2" seam allowance. The large seam allows for extra wear and the seams don't tear open.

BTW really nice quilt. Love the colors.

If you remain consistent with your not so 1/4 inch seam allowance it should work out. Keep going it looks great.

i would finish it, and love it! and then adjust the seam allowance for the next one. in fact, i would probably make a second star using the 'new' 1/4" and see what the difference is.

As long as everything is fitting together correctly (and from the picture, it is) I would finish it. No one but you will ever know the difference. If the smaller size is going to be an issue, just add an extra border. It's going to be gorgeous!

WOW...I love those colors. Don't you dare stop.
