I was at hancock fabrics and couldn't resist the great deal......
i'm thinking maybe a dnp with solid in the middle squares? |
Oh my some smaller print and solids would help calm it down! Cut fabric, some fussy cutting would work nicely with a log cabin or square in a square block. If you added some other fabrics Yellow brick road pattern would be cute also.

I would add some black solid to it.

when I bought them I was thinking table cloth for halloween , or quiltback. Now I'm tempted to try for a quilt :)
|
add the chartreuse like green!!!!! Just saw fat quarters for halloweenvisiting distant quilt shop-D9p sounds good Go for it
|
I love the suggestion to use chartreuse, thanks!

I think fussy cutting the witch fabric for a Warm Wishes pattern would look great. Love your fabrics!
|
I bought the fabric on the right. I used it for a wide border and back. I couldn't resist it....clearance table!
|
Be sure and cut strips from both to save for binding. These colors make terrific looking binding to add just the right amount of pop color to a quilt that needs help.

If you know how to do a d9p with directional fabric you could fussy cut the squares. when doing the d9p and your flip the two corners just switch them for each other don't flip and the pattern will stay in the same direction. good luck I love the fab. but I think it is to big for a regular d9p.
