My mil was cleaning out her stash and I took these fabrics because she didn't want them. They're interesting to contemplate. I had thought of taking the stripe and make a rail fence out of it...all I would have to do is cut out squares and sew together.
Anybody have some awesome ideas other than use it for a backing or a circus tent? Thanks! |
The stripe would make a great border for a kid's quilt.

I love those fabrics. I have both of them, and use them for borders in my QFK quilts.
I'll gladly take them if you don't want them! Hugs, MJ |
They would make great pillow cases too!

I have some of the diamond one that I ampassing along to a quilting buddy to use for QFK's
|
maybe use it in border stips on a kids quilt

It would make really fun binding, too :D:D:D

They would make great borders on the bags that are made with the pet screen.

We had some of that stripe and cut strips of it to tie on our luggage handles when we flew overseas. Made it much easier to locate our luggage on the other end -- just looked for the bright fabric. And there were 28 of us in this group, so we all used it, and it made check-in at the airports much quicker. Now, whenever I travel, no matter how or where, I find a bright, colorful piece of cotton to cut into a strip and tie to my bags. Makes life easier.
