Yes, I think freezer paper would be good but unfortunately I have never seen it in this area. I don't order online and the nearest big city is too far away from here.....not sure I would find freezer paper there even if I did make the trip. I have heard that it is carried in some quilt shops in the area but is very expensive..

freezer paper is at the grocery store in the aisle with waxed paper

I'm working on a special quilt for my son who wants an outdoors theme with hunting/fishing. He wanted the background to be RealTree Camouflage. So...that's what he's getting. Animals from the northern woods, a focal fishing panel, personal pics of him with his previous catches and one of him and his motorcycles. One is a pic his dad took while they were having a guys day out. They took a motorcycle trip up the Mount Washington in New Hampshire. Had a great day. I've detailed everything but the background fabric. Have started it, but doc says I have tennis elbow and have to wait until it heals before quilting more. I've made him two pillowcases to match to go with it.

A big Thank you for replying. I happen to have that magazine. 👍
