I really like almost any of the free patterns from Bonnie Huntville at
http://www.quiltville.com/ Else a star pattern Ohio or friendship from quilter's cache. |
No favorite. Every quilt is different and I love each block.

We have another that looks a little more like a Jug, Jack Russel and Pug - but we are pretty sure he really is a Puggle - just not the typical. |
No actual favorite, but I tend to lean on blocks with squares, rectangles, and triangles. No circles or curved seams for me -- life is too short. :o)

Well, obviously Dresdens, but that could change tomorrow.

I bounce around a lot on choice of blocks but my favorite trick of all is sitting the block on point. It took a couple quilts before completely understanding how to get those outside half points to be on the straight of grain but once I got it through my head, practically very block ends up on point. Since I make numerous charity quilts, setting on point makes a super fast extender of the size of quilt too.
