lol... I didn't know about a quilt label until I started reading here :)

I have done that too, then with my daughter in law's quilt i made an actual pocket with a flap closure, out of matching fabrics and placed in the pocket fabrics and a special fabric 'letter' to her and that is part of the quilt; it has a velcro tab to keep it closed. it is an envelope like pocket.

I love learning all the great tips everyone has on this messag board. I never would have thought of putting fabric under my label...awesome.

= ) I thought maybe someone else was like me... I have holes under my label! I tried FMQ and failed again and got a little hole in the backing so I put the label over it (after dabbing some fabric glue on it)

I also had five minutes to put the label on or I wouldn't have made it to the post office, so it is pretty crooked! At least she will get it on time for her birthday = )
