Love my Janome 6600! Also my Janome 3160 that I take to sew-ins, retreats.

I haven't been able to sew enough with any of the machines I own to have a favorite but I'm fondest of my W&G! She was love at first sight!! :) but the machines in my home are as follows:

My mothers Singer Touch & Sew 758 (which sadly I think is beyond repair)
Brother LS 1217 ( which is currently a love hate relationship as I try to get her to behave. She was gifted to me.)
Eleanor my 116 year old Willcox and Gibbs Automatic Chain Stitch treadle
Tucci my 1952 Singer Featherweight (adopted from original owners son)
Flower my recent adoption of a Brother XR6060 (simple computerized machine with 60 stitches!)

As you can see my collection is nothing fancy but I've only been sewing little things. Maybe if the quilting bug bites hard I might look for something fancier. But for now I'm pretty impressed with the XR. She's very smooth. But my love is with the vintage and antiques! :)

I used to love my Janome 4900 but then I sewed on a Juki 2000... and fell head over heels. I'm still keeping my Janome since it's straight stitch only but wow it sews really, really REALLY nice... and fast!

I have an 8-yr old Babylock Decorator's choice that was a gift from DH and I use it every day. No machine is perfect, but I don't have many complaints. It pretty much takes whatever I give it. I collect vintage machines that I mostly use as artwork in my home because I think they're beautiful. I also have a 40-yr old Kenmore 3/4 size that was my very first machine and is still going strong. I carry it to classes even though it weighs a ton for all its diminutive size b/c it's just the best little piecing machine.

Mine is my Pfaff 4.0 love the way the needle raises just a bit so you can turn your project without raising the presser foot!

I recently purchased a Singer Quatrum 9960 and I love it!! Wish I had more time to play with it and see what all it can
do. I am fairly new to sewing so it will take me a while to figure it out. I am also behind in going to Quilting web sight so this is a late post. Making several things for Chirstmas and other things keep me busy.

I sewed all morning on a new featherweight. She sews beautifully but prefers fast to slow so I wanted to work with her as she eventually will be for sale. We just love vintage machines. Got a red eye converted back to a treadle and the belt fit to it. Tomorrow it will be my favorite as I see how it runs for the first time.

In the meantime, I'm on my Babylock. That one starts beeping that you're running out of bobbin thread when it's at the half way mark. UGH[/QUOTE]

I discovered, quite by accident, that if I leave the door to the bobbin area open, my Babylock Serenade will let me finish off the bobbin thread after the low bobbin alert goes off. Try it---this may work for you.

I am in love with my Babylock Serenade. Love the knee lift! And the lighting is great!! I also love my Pfaff as a backup machine. Both have top feed dogs, which I won't piece without!
