What's Your Favorite Quilting Book?

I'm looking to extend my quilting library and would like to know which ones are your favorites or the one book you would keep if you could only have one.

My two favorites are Material Obsession and Material Obsession 2 both by Kathy Doughty and Sarah Fielke.

If I could only have one it would be the Better Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting. What I like about it is that they use photographs instead of drawings.

AFter that, anything by Eleanor Burns would be on my list.

I still like Quilts! Quilts! Quilts! - and I like the first version better than the revised version.

I got turned off of Eleanor Burns' books because one of the first ones of hers I had contained a serious error.

If we are talking strickly patterns it would have to be "50 Fabulous Paper Pieced Stars" by Carol Doak...a close second would be "More Nickel Quilts" Pat Speth ( but there are three in the series but the one mentioned is my all time favorite.
As for books on methods ... I don't have any one favorite since they all seems to have strengths and weaknesses.

Most of my books are technique or method specific, not so much quilt patterns. My favorite right now is Anita Grossman Solomon's "Rotary Cutting Revolution". I guess my all time favorites are any of the quilt books by Judy Martin and recently Bonnie Hunter. I have too many favorites to just have one.

I just love Eleanor Burns' Egg Money Quilts... it has so many traditional patterns done the easy way

This book starts with various 9 patch patterns and multiples of the 9, then to to 4 patch (4x4) and many of its multiples, 5 patch and its multiples, some curved block. Also some simple quilting instructions. I've had one for ages and recently bought two used from Amazon for less than $10 used. IT'S MY BIBLE.

For basic techniques my two standards are Fons and Porters and Quilts,Quilts,Quilts. For fun, bright quilts I find inspiration in Freddy Moran-Gwen Marston's Collaborative Quilts book.
