None of my machines are fussy so mostly Coats and Clark

I love the Aurifil. After taking my baby in to be repaired for something that happened (still in repair so don't know what) I'll NEVER EVER EVER use thread that I don't know the age of. I did just get some silk finished 100% Mettler, which is about the same price and so far I like it. I'm not finding it to be linty at all. I would like to try the Connecting Threads, but haven't gotten around to trying it. I really think that the Aurifil is just so wonderful.

what ever thread is the right color- and not breaking for what ever i'm working on- i try and use lots of different threads- i have been buying lots of threads from Connecting Threads this past year- so far i love them all- have quite a good color selection and the prices are great.
i use silk thread for most hand work- piecing and applique- |

I use various brands, all good quality.

Maxi-Lock Serger thread! A cone lasts forever!

Right now I'm loving Auriful....Mettler has become too linty....Might look into Sulky thread.....
|
Star thread from Coats and Clark is simply my favorite:)
|
I recently switched to Connecting Threads' cotton thread after having used C&C cotton for a long time. CT thread is definitely less linty than C&C.

My favorite is Aurifil. I love that it creates less lint in my machine.
