What's your favorite thread to use when you are piecing on the machine?

I've only used Aurafil so I'm curious.

I use whatever is in the thread cabinet that matches what I'm sewing...... but my favorite is Gutterman or Mettler 100% cotton.

Superior for machine quilting, but Coats & Clark or others for piecing.

I like Aurifil too. Also Wonderfil is very similar. They've got some nice variegated colors. I also like Gutterman. I think for the money, Aurifil is the best deal of the ones I like.

Aurifil. Mettler is too linty. C and C 100% cotton is OK.

I have tons of Connecting Threads thread (from the sale, a-haaaaaa) and Star thread (Coats and Clark) I really like the Star variegated.

Aurifil for piecing and the bobbin and Superior variegated thread for quilting.
