Read this to my husband. He said, "I like that guy!"

Hi, this has been one of the funniest group of answers in a long time and so perfect for me! I get so tired of ripping and re-sewing that sometimes, I just say, ok, it's done. So be it!

[quote=chairjogger]I have a three seam quilt block. Have ripped out 9 seams! Hah!
got the rotation finally. and ripped out the one that works, to use as an example..
My seam ripper is dull ! hah![/quote

Is that your version of the 10 minute block? I think they look great.
So you are off a little it took me a minute to see it well actually I had to read your second post to notice it. So proceed and show us the quilt when it is done. I bet It will look awsome!

Yep, me too. You put love into a quilt, if your blocks and seams don't match it doesn't mean that the quilt isn't beautiful. I say go for it and just make the darn thing!

Are YOU happy with the quilt? That is truly all that matters. My answer is that is what I wanted to do!

Whatever it is you are making it is going to be lovely. Perhaps a baby quilt or one for granddaughter?

Can you see it from horseback riding by? If its not for a show , I say, move on! We quilters are the most critical bunch in the world! (hardest on OURSELVES I think) We point out every little flaw.. If you are happy with it, its good enought for the rest of us. I like the lady who said "the QB gives you permission to move on" Hear Hear!

i live by the old saying that "we are our own worst critics"....i hardly ever rip out seams, unless it is very very bad or noticable....i think my 'not quite sews" add character to my quilts........

Perfect and I are not on speaking terms, and have not been for many years. He is way too hard on my nerves. LOL, hugs and smiles. I love your blocks, they look like the 10 min. blocks. Are they?
