I know I'm a NewBee and may ask lots of questions but, When you all have a swap, and or a block group. How come you all don't post what is finished? Maybe I'm not looking in the right places. But if you post in the Member Swaps that the pictures of the finished quilts or squares even are found at the home page "Pictures". Just a suggestion, I'm sorry if I have stepped on any toes, I know they are needed when sewing! LOL
Thanks for listening! :-P

No toe stepping on here. You make a good point!

HeHeHeHe - I'm laughing here - can you hear me????
I'm only telling you this about me - but I've been in LOTS of swaps from online groups
and   really haven't made anything from the block swaps
Fabric only swaps I have made things from but they're in different projects still in the works.

Yep! Me too! I seem to have become a block collector instead of a quilter!
That's my goal right now. Put these blocks together before I get in any more swaps!

I plan on making a quilt from the swaps I'm in but then I'm new to this site also. Something about best laid plans and all.

I have seen some posted. They are not usually on the original post though.

 Well someday I hope to get around to making the quilts , really I do  LOL Actually I haven't done that many swaps yet. But I have just got my siggie blocks back and WILL be making that one

Sometimes they get posted under the original swap, others under pictures with a note that they were from what swap

Writing pink-faced: You assume that those participants actually have something to post. My blocks are still sitting pretty in the storage box waiting for the right mood.

Still waiting for my siggie blocks back, and just received my funky house blocks back, but have other things to finish, and keep up with the other swaps I am in. Have seen some posted also, but not very many. It'll drive me nuts until I get the funky houses done, I just love them, and have lots of ideas running through my mind. Just have to decide on one.

I appreciate all the comments! I would just like to see the finished blocks not necessarily the whole quilt, I know some it takes a bit longer that all. I just love loooking at everyones works! I hope someday I could BEE PROUD of my work! Thanks Again!!

You should be proud of your work right now, you are accomplishing things you haven't done before, so you have improved your skills, so you should be proud!

If you put together a block (or a quilt) with forethought and effort, you can be proud of yourself. No need to wish for bigger and better patterns.

We all learn along the way. I still love to do 4-patches and easy patterns and I am pleased as punch when the corners meet. Nowadays, they meet a lot more often than they did in the beginning.

I'm still sewing together hex's with all my I Spy swap fabric. Only 200 some squares left to sew. Have already done 100 plus I guess. Don't know, lost count.

Just reorganized all my previous blocks from swaps so I can hopefully put them together into something this winter. Just have not decided what to make yet.
