Believe it or not, AMAZON.COM has it under "office products" (!) - if you take a look at what comes up for a "freezer paper" search, there are some surprises, leads where to look elsewhere, and some good sales.

Hope this helps - I can get it here in north central Florida in grocery stores, Sam's/BJ's, Winn-Dixie, restraurant supply stores and other places. Sorry you're having such a time finding this!

I get mine at Walmart, by the aluminum foils and sandwich bags.

I always bought mine at Bruno's Grocery and they have closed up. Guess I'll have to be on the lookout for it somewhere else.

Flying_V_Goddess 08-03-2011 01:01 PM

I got mine at Wal-Mart by the foil and plastic baggies. I also have some extra wide freezer paper I found at Hobby Lobby.

IBQUILTIN 08-03-2011 01:09 PM

Costco for me. Or Sam's Club

Kitsie 08-03-2011 01:29 PM

Look in the section that has the tin foil and waxed paper. Reynold makes it.

C. Jenkins is my first choice if I can afford it. Not all Walmarts carry the rolls. Sometimes Dollar General does. Usually has to be a larger Walmart or larger grocery, etc. It will be more available late fall when time to freeze meat, etc. Quilt shops and sites often carry the thicker variety. Good luck!

Costco

joeyoz 08-03-2011 03:01 PM

Um, I buy mine at Costco. We wrap a lot of elk and deer. So we always have it on hand.

chuckbere15 08-03-2011 03:05 PM

I bought mine at Meijers. It's like a super Walmart.

sylvia77 08-03-2011 03:13 PM

Sam's Club has some, that's where I got mine.

sewmorethings 08-03-2011 03:48 PM

I get it in walmart next to the tin foil

PKITTY1 08-03-2011 04:11 PM

Here in Nashville, I have found it at Krogers and Walmart. It usually is on the bottom shelf under all the foil, plastic wrap, parchment, etc...and usually only one type (Reynolds I think) is available. Hope this helps.

Lone Feather 08-03-2011 04:45 PM

At Walmart, Brookshires and several little Mom and pop grocery stores.

jquilt214 08-03-2011 05:53 PM

Sam's has big rolls. I used to buy it there. I quilted with a group as well as at home. We shared the big roll and this will be great for groups.

supergma 08-03-2011 06:24 PM

My Walmart has it in the foil/waxpaper isle.

Alondra 08-03-2011 07:38 PM

I get mine at the grocery store. Ask your local butcher, and I'll bet he'll give you a nice big piece of butcher paper, which is also good.

Jo Mama 08-03-2011 07:50 PM

At my grocery store (Publix).

Grandma Mary 08-03-2011 07:54 PM

Believe it or not, I bought a wide roll of it at Menards...a home improvement store!!!! ;-)

ewecansew 08-03-2011 09:54 PM

Don't forget to check with your local quilt store. I know I carry it at my store. And to another poster, wax paper cannot be used the same way that freezer paper is used. Are the large rolls from Costco, the white freezer paper?

Jammin' Jane 08-03-2011 10:25 PM

I get mine at Walmart.

Lone Feather 08-04-2011 06:03 AM

Homemother 08-06-2011 08:44 PM

I saw a box of freezer paper in one of my parents' spard bedrooms, right there on the desk shelf. Wonder what is was doing there? Never asked. Should have and asked to have it, too!!!

SnowQuilt 08-06-2011 09:06 PM

I bought mine at Walmart just a couple weeks ago. :)
