OK so for some reason I am sure this is the most complicated way of doing it but here is a way that it can be done. lol I have also been contimplating just doing the HST idea. lol

If you print the pattern that Nursie posted twice, do a little cutting and taping Make the peel round on both sides. Then take the squareish piece and split it corner to courner both ways, and then side to side, and top to bottom you will have all your pieces. Add 1/4 inch all the way around and you have your templates.

It isn't. the one has 4 pieces in the center, and the other has, well, A Lot!. :lol: :lol:

The concept is the same though, and one could actually use that pattern to make the quilt in the ad, just make the center pieces solid instead of what the pattern calls for. Because after all the little pieces are sewn together it still comes together as four pieces. the only difference would be instead of your white peel part being all one piece it would be split with a seam down the center.
