Ooooh! I'd love to have a FW table! That's one of the things I look for at estate sales. Some day . . .

Patrice, it's not that table. It's a newly crafted one for Featherweights. I'd love to find the old one too. :)
there just happens to be one for sale right now on CL in Seattle....but it's a bit pricey: https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/atq/7563602638.html |

I share my sewing room with my granddaughters' bunk bed and dresser for their overnighters. My sewing table is against a window with a cutting card table on lifts to the left. When I am adding borders, binding, putting a big quilt together or machine quilting I move the sewing center to the middle of the room and put the back extender up. That gives me a lot of room.

By a window because that is the only area in the bedroom it would fit

I had to look around. Four of them face a wall. Two of them face a window. Two of them have my back to the window. One is in it's travel case. I can't part with any of them. They each do something different or have a function that is missing in the other machines. I know a lady who has 32 of them set up in her garage!!!

Where is your sewing machine
Near a wall, but I am using an old wood dining table.
|
My janome is in the middle of the room on a 36" shelving unit. I stand to sew and the shelf unit is perfect for it.
|
My Baby Lock Lyric (named Riz) is between 2 windows in what is the "guest" bedroom. I like to look outside while I am sewing.
|
I have a large living room (about 16' x 24') so one end is the living room and the other end is for sewing, with my fabric storage in totes, ironing board, and SM on a large table by the window.
