Mist (F2026) Hoffman Bali Wild Flowers - Retired ...found this at Batiks Plus...

Try www.fabsearch.net - I got it from the FabShop website. I needed about a yard of a fabric for the border of a round robin quilt, and tried this site. They send out 1000 emails to quilt shops all over the country letting them know the fabric you're looking for, and the shop(s) that have it will email you with the amount of that fabric they have and the price. I was thrilled with the result - I got the fabric I needed (only 1 store had it!), and it was even on sale!

I am quite sure that I have a yard of this. I put it aside to use for a lining for a purse. Let me know if you want it.

I hope you find it!!I think is very pretty.

Building on the some of the detective work above, I googled the information and this is what I came up with:
This is a Hoffman Batik. It's called Hoffman Bali Wild Flowers F2026 I found some of it at Batiks Plus, but I wasn't sure about the colors. I think if you can find the correct color number, you just might get lucky googling that exact name. Good Luck! (Great detective work above too, I might add!!!!) Isn't this an awesome place to ask for help??? |
Not sure but check out doviequiltingandfabric.com/see if she has it. I have have purchased from her but thee is no connection. I am ust a happy shopper. I tell everyone, as she has the best prices too.
good luck, dawn227 |
Try Batiks Galore in Joshua Texas. They have a website and online ordering...huge inventory and very helpful.

Pretty fabric, good luck with your search!

Maybe you can find a "stripe" batik that would coordinate. Doing a bias binding would look nice.
Here's an example, not sure if it's the right color tho. http://www.dakotacabinquilts.com/cgi...menu-2600.html Sometimes Hoffman has a "color family" that coordinate. I happen to like the "surgarplum" colorway and they have different patterns that go together. |
try Batiksetc.com or Everythingbatik.com Also might try Hancock fabric in Paduca Hope you find it!

Can you get the name of the batik line from the quilt shop if you take a sample in?
|

I sympathize. I was in the exact same position 3 weeks ago, trying to finish a quilt for my son. Short by just over a yard on the background fabric I needed for the borders. A lot of on-line searching, and I found the fabric, figured out the colourway, and now I have 2 yards of a perfect match in my hands. I cost me an extra 4 yards of wrong colours, but in the end was certainly worth it. And I second what someone said - don't be afraid of the UK quilt shops. That's where I got mine (admittedly, it was a UK fabric to begin with).

Look I may have found it - http://www.batiksplus.com/SuperStore...ortmentID=616- Hope it is what you are looking for
