Who makes black batting?
I make a lot of quilts (mostly Art quilts) with dark background fabric and want to use black batting. So far I've only been able to find Hobbs Heirloom 80/20. Are there any other manufacturers out there? Where do I buy it?

hobbs makes a really nice black batting- Connecting Threads has their batting on sale right now and carry it

One I saw at Joanns, looked very bad, shaggy and very thin. I just couldn't bring myself to buy it.

Connecting Threads! I just placed an order this morning for many yards of the clearance fabric for backing ($3 a yard), Hobbs batting, and several quilt kits on clearance.

Quilter's Dream makes a black batting.

I'm after a nice black batting too :)

I've used (and liked) the Quilter's Dream black batting. Fabric.com carries it in two thicknesses and several sizes (assuming they're not sold out; they do sell out of it fairly frequently)
