I have the EQ6 and have used it some but not nearly enough because of the cost. Just doesn't appeal to me. Thought I would use it a lot. Have done the tute but still just not for me.

If you like learning how to use computer software, like to learn things on your own, don't mind reading the manual then EQ is for you. If not...don't buy it.

I love EQ7...to me it's the best thing since sliced bread. but then I love to fool with computer-such-things. I have a friend that, when using the computer, has to be told how to do something each time she tries...she just doesn't 'get it' when it comes to computers...I think it's because she frustrates easily. EQ7 would be thrown out her window after about 10 minutes. LOl

I started with EQ5 and loved it. Skipped EQ6, then upgraded to EQ7 and love, love, love it. Yes, there's a learning curve, but why would you think there wouldn't be? If it was really easy, it wouldn't have all the bells and whistles! I keep finding new things that it does. You really need to take time to learn it. Start with the basics - begin at the beginning of the book. Use the videos that are included in the EQ7 software. Then gradually work your way through the book.Use the videos on the EQ web site. Buy one of the design books and work your way through that. Pretty soon you'll love EQ7!

It is a wonderful program. Have you taken the 22 lessons in the program and viewed the many videos in the program.

I love my EQ7. Don't use it as much as I could because I just don't have the time. I like to design my own and look at how different colors turn out such different results. There are a few things I wish it did that it doesn't do, but I can live with what it does do.

If you really don't use it you can always sell it to someone who wants to try it. Also Rhonda is great with her tutorials on how to use it. Check them out.

Id love to have the EQ7 ...I'd be interested in buying one from someone who really doesn't like theirs

I don't use mine as much as I thought I would. A part of that has to do with Internet connectivity issues and being "locked out" until it validates or whatever it does periodically. A major part has to do with not getting a scanner until recently and now that I have it not taking the time to get my fabrics scanned in. Like many of you I do have the pen or pencil and paper at hand so I will often just go a quickie sketch up and get on to sewing because that requires less effort. Too many ideas, too many other things going on, just haven't taken the time to really figure out how to do some of what I bought it for.

I would definitely be interested in buying an EQ7 from someone that bought it and decided they don't want it. Please email me if you are interested in selling at [email protected].
