I miter all of my quilts. It is one thing that I can do right! LOL!

I never miter. the times I have tried to master this have always been a desaster so I just don't do it.

I never miter either - it looks harder to do than regular borders and in reading the instructions, it does sound more troublesome. Regular borders works for me (so far).

I don't miter my borders just the binding.

I've mitered the borders. It depends on the fabric, how much fabric I have, and if I'm in the mood to do it. I should probably try to do it more often, because to me it looks better.

Sometimes I miter and sometimes I don't...depending
upon my mood and luck at trying to do it!
What does your friend mean that it wastes material???!!!

I never miter, because I never learned how to do it.

I mitre most of the time as I like the look, but again I think it's a personal choice.
