I have only learned to mite corners...does anyone have pictures of what a non-mitered quilt looks like? I would be interested in seeing some pics. Thanks....Connie in California

i only miter the corners when putting on the binding and that is plenty of mitering for me

I don't miter my borders and I almost always round the corners, I find they hang better on the bed. I usually make the ones for us to use as a bedspread and the corners don't touch the floor. I round the corners of the quilts I give away and no one has ever complained.

Here is a quilt with rounded corners

I had a real time doing mitered corners. A while ago there was a great tute on mitering corners and it turned the light on for me. How else do you do corners??

I always miter my bindings but for borders it depends on the fabric and the 'look' that I want.
