At least I have good company. I try to save every penny I can so I can spend it on fabric and not something boring like a blade.

Did you know you can take them out and turn them over? I do that with mine and they cut like new on the other angle...I try to keep using mine too as long as I can..I bought 5 of the 5 packs of them off eBay and now I can't find them!! I got a great deal on them, paid $25 and the guy shipped them free!! They were fiscars too not an off brand. I wish he would have had more packages, I would have gotten more of them. I think my quilt gremlins are up to no good again!! They love to hide stuff from me constantly..

Same here! :?:

I bought the Grace sharpener and use it before I start cutting. It really keeps my blade sharp. Remember to sharpen a sharp blade and it will last a very long time.

I do the same thing. Need to check out Harbor Frieght - there is one just a few miles from me.
