I only think about changing the rotary blade when I am using it and do not want to stop and change it ... even if cutting would be easier if I did

Roatary blade sharpeners come in many shapes and sizes and costs so can't speak for all of them but the one I bought looked like a knife sharpener. After one try, it became part of the next garage sale

Well, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that keeps trying to use dull blades. We are a thrifty and sometime stubborn bunch but old dogs can learn new tricks.

If we don't take time to change a blade, we probably wouldn't take time to sharpen them either

If we don't take time to change a blade, we probably wouldn't take time to sharpen them either ... even if we found a great sharpener

Change them, I didn't know that haha
Have a Blessed day

No you are not the only one. I am currently using a blade on the third quilt, it is getting bad, but I'm not going to change it until I start the next quilt. For me it is economics, either that or I am just cheap, Probably both. LOL!!

I bought a sharpener, it doesn't work.

I do the same thing. But, FYI ------ if you clean the blade and the cutter with mineral oil, you can get a lot of extra cuts from that old blade.
