I am so glad to know I am not alone in my thinking. I can relate to almost everyone of you about your stash. I always thought everyone had a stash and was surprised when I found out that everyone doesn't have a stash. I think what in the world will they do if they couldn't buy fabric?

We live 15 miles away from our local LQS. I always rationalize that given where we live, it's important that I have adequate stash available to me at all times. I'm a moody quilter and sometimes decide on the spur of the moment to make something (not on the list). What a wonderful experience to find just what I need in my "stash".

(It's also why I spend so much time online, shopping..... )

I don't usually have to buy anything, in order to quilt...

I truly agree with you :!:

I also put all my fabric on boards and love the way it looks so much that I'm beginning to look at it as wall decoration instead of fabric I will use. It's much to pretty to disturb by cutting, guess I will have to buy more.

This has been my prob. I still have fabrics that I bought a few yrs. ago that I just can't stand the idea of cutting until just the right project comes along. Who knows when that might be.
