http://www.walmart.com/ip/Whitney-De...-Board/7942561 It is the one that says $39.97 (or some number close to that). I read the information there, and now I know I can rest my iron on it, even when it is hot. Not sure I will be able to let myself do that though... Jean |
Definitely off to Wally Mart to see if mine has it!

But like someone else asked, where can you get a new cover? |
Thanks for posting. I am off to Walmart to buy it.
I just bought an ironing board from Target and returned it because the top surface had groves in it. Why would anyone make an ironing board that was not flat?!?! Elise |
Moving this topic up with some more questions. As far as the iron holder, can it be removed or pushed in so it doesn't stick out? Also, since the left end (for a righty) is slanted, not as wide as the other end do you find it works just like a traditional board, can't iron as wide piece of fabric without turning? I'm interested in buying one of these and would like to turn it around like mentioned earlier with the slanted end where the iron rest, hopefully the iron holder can be moved to the other end of the board. Also, has anyone found this board to be too heavy?
My sister made a board from plywood but I found it way too heavy for me to remove easily for those times when I need to iron shirts. Thanks |
I bought one yrs ago, I have a hard time finding a replacement cover and pad for mine. I hope they start stocking them or more of them.

Need to make a trip to WM to see what they have!

Thank you Dina for posting about your new ironing board. I had to order mine online and have it shipped to the local Walmart. I just unpacked it tonight & I love it.

I missed the Wal-mart sale on the ironing board. I just happend by there today and they have them for $44.00. AT Bed, Bath and Beyond they are $100.00!!
i have a perfectly good ironing board but if i could get the Wal-mart one half price, i'd buy it. Hmmm, just read about pressing shirts. i always have left the small end of the ironing board to my left and the metal attachment (one i added) on the right for my iron. I'm right handed and need it on that side/end. |
