Winding Curves Templates by Sara Miller-Moe

Has anyone tried these templates? I like the idea that they include a "fudge" factor and then you cut them down to size. I have tried circles with another template and had NO luck. This is the website:

Humm am I misunderstanding or does it cost extra to find out how to use the ruler?

I would prefer to buy a laser cut fabric set from John Flynn. No templates needed!

I do not have her set of templates, but I do have some from .....Back Porch something or other......and they were not as expensive as Miller Moe......and they do work well, I made a scrappy batik and it was easy...........

If you are looking just for a Drunkard's path to get a circular look I would definitely so with the Elisa's Back Porch products. Her curves rulers are great and not nearly as expensive as Sara Moe's. She also explained to me one time at a quilt show that they are a degree off and that makes them easier to sew, although they still look like a circle. She has intructions with the ruler and I believe some videos out on her website. They are easy to put together, no snipping the circular part just iron to one side or the other. I have had great success with these rulers and would recommend them -No I am associated with them just giving my opinion.

I too prefer the Back Porch templates. I even got mine on sale!

I have the complete set of her templates. They are high quality acrylic rulers. I haven't used them yet.
