I just purchased some Wonder Clips at JoAnn's on sale, and then had a coupon for another 25% off, so they were a huge bargin. But honestly if I had know how great they were I would not have waited for a sale!!!! I have been busy making pot holders and eyeglass cases, and I have used them at least everyday since I purchased them. They are fantastic!!!

They are great for binding. I use then to hold the folded over binding in place. Then I sew following the stitch line underneath so it stitches in the ditch on the other side of the quilt. No hand sewing.

I use my wonder clips all the time now. I rely use pins. I just love them. They are perfect for binding and lining up points when piecing. I just ordered a package of the large ones from msqc as they had them as a daily special a couple of days ago.

My favorite place to use them is when sewing sections of paper piecing blocks together. They catch the 1/4 inch seam perfectly, front and back. Pins just don't work for that process at all.

I have never seen wonder clips before. Silly me I 'discovered' that I could use small binder clips the same way, and best of all they don't cost much at the office supply store. I buy the pretty ones that are sold for scrap booking because of the extra layer of paint that keeps my quilts from scratches or rusting.

I love wonder clips....

Yes, Elmers Glue and wonder clips are my best friends when I get down to hand sewing the binding on while watching TV. I've got 3 boxes of the wonder clips so I never run out. I rarely use straight pins anymore as I'll use the glue for when I need to make sure my blocks match up. Just a tiny little dab is all that's needed too.

As for those I mentioned on another topic, I used the Elmer's Glue to attach my embroidery designs to the fronts of my pillow covers I made a couple of weeks ago. So far its working like a champ. When I get tired of these designs I can just pull them off, wash the covers and add new ones. Sure saves having to create all new pillow covers each time.

Me, too! I also use bobby pins, which are super cheap and easy to handle.

I have a double set of both the wonder clips (red ones) & also the jumbo clips (green ones). I have used them in many situations, which include alterations. Love mine, yes they are expensive.
