Anybody here tried the new binding clips called "Wonder Clips".
Yes, I know they are expensive. I am aware of that. Just want to know whether any other notions junkies (like me!) have tried them and what you thought. And yes, I know they are expensive.

I bought some "aligator" clips off clearance rack at WalMart, they work great!!! Cheep too.

Are these the ones you're referring to?

I think I would actually like them - I've never seen them before. I don't think they're expensive, though. Especially not if they work. ;)

I'm the queen of money wasted on useless notions, though so maybe I'm not the person to listen to.

I just use the small, silver hair clips from Dollar Store. And I only clip about 12 - 18 inches at a time to keep the binding lying flat and not have to squeeze or stretch it to fit. But that's just me!

Yes those are the ones! A friend of mine showed me her new
goodies today and I loved them. The shop she works at is awaiting an order and I will buy from them even though I can get them cheaper on-line. Hint - go to amazon.com. SO glad you love tools and gadgets. Here locally, I am known as the gadget queen!

Please let us know how you like the wonder clips. I've used (recycled)
some small binder clips for potholders (3 layers of batting) and they worked
really well.

Would you believe they don't sell those silver hair clips here? Same for
buttons. Can't find a darn button in town. I have a fairly big collection of
buttons but you know Murphy's Law...never in the right size or colour. LOL

Save yourself the $$ and head to the $$ $tore and buy some of the snap hair barettes. Simple to apply ... and a flick and you can take them off.

Holds perfectly!!!
Best thing ever ... and I've been able to get them anywhere from six to ten for a buck! :)
