Mee tooo!! I kept watching the clock. I am trying to make the Bow tuck purse and that tut has been just out of reach! Now to see where I went wrong...

I was very productive while QB was down. I took my daughter to the airport and sent her off on her deployment to Afghanistan, came back to her apartment and cleaned the whole thing and did 2 loads of laundry. I picked my sewing machine up from the hospital on the way home so at least I'll be able to sew!

TonnieLoree 03-29-2011 01:19 PM

Well, did anyone get anything accomplished? I continued to Machine Quilt on my current UFO. It seems like the cross- hatch grid keeps growing. Two more rows to complete it, but I've said that a dozen times already. Yikes!

winterpromise31 03-29-2011 01:19 PM

I was really productive as well but I was refreshing for the last five minutes waiting to see when it would come back up! ;)

lyndaloo 03-29-2011 01:21 PM

I don't think I could have stood it another minute! Whew!

Up North 03-29-2011 01:23 PM

WEll I did get my sons curtains done and played solitaire till I am sure I will see cards in my sleep!

Melody 03-29-2011 01:25 PM

I really didn't think I was THAT addicted to this site, but it's been a long day without QB !!

About all I did was keep checking to see if they had it back up and running yet. Boy was I glad to see it back up.LOL

cjomomma 03-29-2011 01:30 PM

Oh gosh I thought I was gonna die! It seemed like forever. I didn't get anything done.

cjomomma 03-29-2011 01:31 PM

I missed it so much I had to post twice! LOL!!

QuiltnNan 03-29-2011 01:33 PM

I worked on a king quilt for my daughter. However, can't spend too long at a time on that.

Stacey 03-29-2011 01:34 PM

Oh, thank God I made plans to meet a client at the quilt store this morning. I would have been Jonesing without the QB.

Beachbound 03-29-2011 01:35 PM

I took a nap!!! I haven't been sleeping as well with a new puppy in the house & boy, that nap felt good!!!

I'm guilty as well. Hadn't realized how much I check on the board until it was down!

bjnicholson 03-29-2011 02:12 PM

I just realised I missed it altogether! Silly me. Cleaned up the kitchen. My chef would put "uglycook" to shame!

JoanneS 03-29-2011 02:15 PM

Way too funny! I checked once this morning and gave up till just now. I used the time to take an on-line course in something non-quilting and finished 4 lessons. Shows me how much time I w- spend on the board!

quiltpd 03-29-2011 02:20 PM

Yep, I'm ADDICTED !!!! I don't know how many times I checked. LOL

TonnieLoree 03-29-2011 02:21 PM

Went back to finish the last two rows of quilting on UFO and found 6 more. Boo!

bjeriann 03-29-2011 02:54 PM

I made the mistake and went shopping. Costly but fun.

Sassylass 03-29-2011 02:56 PM

MEEE TOOO....glad it is up and running.....phewwwww

wanderingcreek 03-29-2011 03:36 PM

I was having withdrawal symptoms too! Gosh are we ever a bunch of addicts!

katsewnsew 03-29-2011 03:41 PM

From 10 to 1 PM, I worked on 4 totes, then kept checking to see if it was back up. Didn't really get up and running for me until about 2:30!!!

fabric whisperer 03-29-2011 03:42 PM

haa haa, I was it went down for maintenance, and got a nice relaxing nap :) felt great!

I'm just sew glad we're all back together again. I was having separation anxiety. All better now. Ahhhh.

Yooper32 03-29-2011 03:56 PM

I had a sorta productive day, for me. I limped up the lane with my bag of trash, a bag of compost material from the kitchen and a bag of stale bread for her chickens. Some of them are old hens that I kept for my daughter for a year and a half while they got their new house built, one, a silky seems to have a ruptured crop and we didn't think she would live long, so now all the rest of the flock are gone except her and a speckled hen who is one of the originals. It is always fun for me to throw scraps for the chickens. Put compost stuff on her garden area, limped back and read my electric meter, something I dread, especially this winter and came in sent my reading flying away on the web and proceeded to start fixing a real dinner, for a change. Oh, and somewhere in between other chores, I finished quilting a table runner for my youngest daughter.

Have to confess, after I put dinner in the oven, I checked and the board wasn't back up yet and it was over the time frame, even considering we are 3 hours later than Pacific time and I had an awful thought: What if they just told us they were going to do maintenance and they decided to give the board up and this is it...no more quilting board. I did not want to do any more thinking after that awful though, so got busy again. Can you just imagine?

I wasn't kidding!! I had to take DD to the Dr. and thought well I will be alright til I get home but the office had Wi-Fi and I was on til the board shut down. When I got home I kept checking to see if it was back up.

TonnieLoree 03-29-2011 06:45 PM

It ended up being 20 more rows. But that is done. Now to trim strings, then add binding. Almost done and I can see daylight. :-D
