Dumb question coming up. Which side of the freezer paper do you press the wrong side of label to? Thanks.

Not a dumb question! The freezer paper has two sides, a papery one and a plasticy one. You iron the plastic side to the fabric. If you are still confused as to which side is which, try to draw something with a pencil. You can draw on the paper side, but not on the plastic one.

I prefer to press on a wool mat. If it scorches take a firm bristle brush or something similar and brush it away. The smell is pure wool, at least you know it's the real thing. The smell seems to go away or I just don't notice it anymore.

Ditto everything she just said.
