"I will do it for you" I am bad at this one. Then no one learns what they need to know. Better choice, "I will show you how"

Lost scissors, seam ripper, pins????
As my 5 year old would say....walk carefully, mom is sewing! |
Oh yeah I almost forgot my favorite one here lately....... "Son of a #%@&*^ not again!! Do this one more time and I going to throw you sorry @$^% out of the $%&^*@ window you piece of $%&^!!!!"
This one is said when my thread has jumped out of the thread slot on my faceplate and then jumped off of the tensioner and I have this hairy thread wad tangled in my feed dogs. Fortunately I have just about remedied this issue so it hasn't had to be said that much now. Billy |
I think "It's not perfect" or some variation of that comment. (Guilty as charged). What does perfection mean in quilting terms anyway? We are so worried that our quilting community will eject us from membership if the HSTs don't match or a point is cut off. The sad part is that we accuse our comrades in arms of doing the very thing we KNOW they won't do. We do not judge. We do not chastise. We do not belittle. And we do not criticize. So what the ^%(^&()87 are we worried about?

So my phrase to add to the list is that - 'I'm NOT perfect and have no business even TRYING to be!' :-D |
