Sorry, I'm not computer savvy enough to be able to help you with your labels, but I am glad to hear that you are beginning to feel better.

What kind of program do you have on your computer??

I have MicroSoft Word so could probably help you set up one there.

In Word:
click on Tools
click on Letters and Mailings
click on Envelopes and Labels
click on the tab for Labels
click on Options - find a label that measures the size you are looking for; these are arranged by company and type, so there are lots of choices
click on okay
click on New Document
You will be taken back to your Word document but you will see faint lines on the page. These lines denote your label edges and you can put what you like into the first one, then copy and paste it into the rest. Easy!!

you can download many label printing program. Go to you printer brand website. They have free print programs you can download. I haven't seen any printer that didn't have multiple print settings in the properties tab though.

that just seems like a small label.. are you sure that's going to be large enough? you would have to write teeeny to get your info on there.
there are many ways to easily print out labels these days. maybe you should do some research first to see what's available.

anybody agree/disagree?

these are my handbag labels - i don't use these on quilts.

they measure 1 inch by 2.75 inches.

i would try it out on paper to make sure you can fit whatever you want to on them.

that's a good example, klue. you can see that there really isn't much space to put name, place, year and occasion in the space. it's a great size for a signature label, but for a quilt label? i don't know.....

kluedesigns 07-12-2009 04:11 PM

and mine are over a 1/2 longer then the ones mentioned by the OP.
