Which would you choose?

Which fabric would you choose for my falling charms quilt? I like them all.
I like them all as well. If I had to pick one, I would pick the blue..
I like the red with flowers.

I would pick the blue, but they are all gorgeous contenders!!!!

I am not familiar with the pattern you mentioned but what about a shade of gold that is in both fabrics???
OOPS. Just saw your posting. I had thought that might be the border. I like the blue because it pops. |
I love the red polka dot!

I think I would go with the blue.
Falling Charms is a great pattern for using completely unrelated or scrap squares. I would use them all!
I like the red polka dots, but they are all excellent options.
I wonder...if you could border some in red and some in blue and then alternate in the layout...hmmm.
blue or red polka dot, don't care for the solid
I really like the blue.
Blue, because of the contrast.

I can see your white print as the background fabric ... which would then mean several different ones for the charms. I'd start with what you have, though I would probably leave out the plain red as it reads much the same as the dotted red. I'd look for a darker blue to add to the mix, a gold print, and something with the red-blue-gold all together, plus any others that work with the mix. That is, if I wanted a multi-colour RW+B look. Otherwise, I would look for an assortment of blues ... or reds that mix and match. |
Though I don't know the pattern I love the red dimples and the red flowers.
I am assuming the 5" squares of medical fabric will be the charms, and you are trying to decide on the sashing? Depends on if you are aiming for a calm quilt or a cheery quilt. The blue would calm down the entire quilt; red would enliven it. Between the reds, I actually prefer the solid over the little dots.
For those not familiar with the pattern, here is a link to a Youtube tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KkpbFKBaKA The completed quilt is hanging in the background. |
I'm partial to blue, so I'd pick the blue. But if you wanted one of the reds, I would choose the deeper red on the right.
I like the blue.
really like the pin dot
the red, either one. Not the blue.
I would pick the blue but then you seem to lean towards red in which case i would go for the darker red - right side of picture - but they all would look good
Check Missouri Star Quilt videos for the pattern. It is a quick, fun project.

The Blue seems to anchor the piece the best. The reds feel like they are floating. I would choose blue.

Wow, now that's a challenge. I like them all, but if I had to pick I'd go with the blue.
I like them all but if I have to choose it would be the blue!
I like the blue and the little daisies. Very cute!
I agree with Tartan. Use all the fabrics. Hugs
I'm afraid I'm not going to be much help as I like the fabrics, especially the nurse fabric.
Why not mix and match ? Letty x

I like the red with the flowers the best. But that's me. I love red.
I rarely use blue and love red, but in this case I think the blue looks best. I used some of this fabric in a quilt for my daughter who is a nurse.
They're all pretty. I like the red on the right.
Beautiful fabrics. I prefer the blue.
