I am one of those that chooses the beige piping and the navy binding. What a lovely simple quilt!
i like the beige. Seems to frame it off better making the navy pop.
I like the beige pipping. It breaks the navy down a bit and it does look nice with it.
Happy sewing :) |
I definitely like the navy piping Love how it outlines the quilt!
I like the naby piping and don't really care for the red.
Definitely the navy piping! This is a gorgeous quilt.
The navy, absolutely. The beige just gets lost, somehow.
Audition the beige, you can always rip out 10 inches.

I like the navy piping best. Would love to see it completed!
I would go with the navy.
I like the navy piping. Nice job on the quilt.
I love the navy, but they both look pretty! Is there an accent color in the floral you could bring out?

My vote - navy piping. I had a large piece of your main fabric at one time. Loved it and used it all up. It looks really nice in your quilt.

I agree. The beige disappears into the border fabric. |
I think the navy pulls all of it together to make a nice statement, Lovely quilt can't wait to see it finished
The navy piping
I like the navy piping, or none at all. The red and beige just don't look as sharp to me. It's a beautiful quilt!
Love the navy!
I also vote for the navy piping....makes it pop!!! Beautiful top!!
absolutely IMHO I would use the blue.

I posted another pic under "update which would you choose". I chose the navy piping. Thanks for all your comments and suggestions.
I like the beige piping on the inner piping border and navy for the outer piping border. Very nice quilt!
Navy looks great
I'm in the minority here. I like it without the piping. With just the print, it makes the rest of the quilt float.
Both beautiful options. What about trying the beige piping, and then an extra wide (1") navy binding?
My choice: navy piping. The red is nice, but has no anchor to the quilt...if some of the elements of the quilt were red, it would work. Stick with the navy.

I also prefer the beige piping... it seems to need that third fabric. It also sets the border off from the body of the quilt better.
Ok, now that I see the red I love it!
I really like the navy, but either way it is gorgeous!
NAVY…you need the contrast..

Love the navy....
I love the navy piping and binding!
Here is another color........medium blue for the flange and then bind in same color as border fabric. Using the flange to stop the design. And the border is then the frame of that picture
I agree with MaggieMay and craterrn1. I lie the beige. froggyintexas
I like the blue piping. It helps set off the boarder more. Gives it some more pazzes (sp?). You have done an awesome job. Keep it up. K
I like the beige as it gives space between the navy blocks and the border
