Would you consider a contrast for the piping? Red? Forrest green?

Of those pictured, I'd personally go with the navy. I do think that some narrow border treatment helps define the design, though I guess your choices in how you plan to quilt it would be another factor to throw into the mix.

I love the navy piping. I think all quilts need at least a small dark border to frame them, and then whatever other color one chooses to use just adds to the beauty.

I like the navy, but I do think a dark red would look great too. The beige just seems to get lost except where is is next to the navy.

I love the navy and navy. Perfect!

Okay, I am different and I say no piping, with the beige border and blue binding. I think the beige rows extending into the beige border give it movement. You could quilt feathers down the beige rows and into the beige border.:)

Navy, definitely!

I never considered red, any more comments?

I'm in the navy group. Great idea - I do narrow borders but never thought of piping.

Navy piping with Navy binding.
