Well, my sew/stash area is an add-on to a mobile home. Which the man of the house has said between the furniture, fabric in a cabinet, my book (he isn't even including the stash) that the add-on might just pull off the house. So I am trying to use it up along making quilts, clothes, gifts, purses - whatever I can. I even had a friend offer to help me organize my stash (I need help) but I'm embarrassed for her to see the mess.

I could see how that might happen. I just moved all of mine to a big closet in my hallway. We have a concrete foundation!!!! Thank the Lord!!!

Still laughing and crying for the poor woman. Mine's in the basement, too and house is built on a solid limerock shelf!

Note to self...buy another house jack for under sewing room...

Sewing room is a porch of a 70 year old house...I have 1 house jack under it, as a precaution...must have more. This porch was a bit off kilter before me and my stash moved in, so I didn't do it!

So far, so good!

Would your stash cave your floor in? I keep mine divided in enough places so that it won't!

I only have one floor-- the ground and I made the sewing room with my own 2 hands and know the floor will NOT cave in on me.

7 featherweights.? If you are ever wanting to sell one at a reasonable price and in working order, get in touch with me. I have been watching them on e-bay and can't afford the price of them. That would complete my quilting wish...
